When someone asks me how to evaluate a coach, I start with the work the person needs help doing. A credential may tell you something about training. It does not, by itself, tell you whether a particular person understands your circumstances or will be useful to you.
Ask for relevant experience. What responsibilities has the coach actually held? What problems have they helped clients work through? Which references can you contact with permission? A polished biography should lead to information you can investigate, not replace it.
